For 40 years, the Institute of the Americas has promoted sound public policy and fostered cooperation between public and private sector stakeholders across the hemisphere. The Institute’s diverse programs emphasize innovation and technological advancement as the key to building 21st century economies in the Americas. Our current thematic programs include Energy & Sustainability, Environment & Climate Change with plans for a forthcoming program on Economic Competitiveness.
Through its Public Programs, the Institute offers virtual and in person programming bringing together individuals, business and civic leaders together from across Southern California and Baja California to promote expanded engagement and dialogue on emerging issues and trends impacting countries across the Americas. Our virtual and hybrid programs also reach our other supporters and stakeholders throughout the hemisphere.
As an Institute member, you have the opportunity to learn from thought leaders, public officials, business leaders, innovators, academics, and journalists who provide their insights to help us better understand our rapidly changing world. In addition, we offer arts and cultural experiences sharing both emerging and established artists with you as to showcase the diversity of the people of the Americas and their interpretation of our world.
