Webinar: Testing Resiliency – Latin America and the Caribbean Energy Outlook

March 10 | 9:00 am PT / 12:00 pm ET | Virtual

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the resiliency of Latin America and the Caribbean has been on display. The dramatic health and safety issues compounded ongoing economic and political challenges translating to volatility and upheaval in the energy sector. But the region has emerged with positive signs in the upstream in major markets and increased focus on hydrogen and decarbonization efforts in select countries.

On the occasion of the publication of Sproule’s annual Latin American and Caribbean Energy Outlook Report, we are pleased to co-host a webinar to share the insights contained in their analysis and input from some of our experts.

The webinar will explore the region’s outlook in 2023 focusing on significant transactions, highlights and key developments by country, and opportunities for sustainable energy solutions throughout Latin America and the Caribbean with a focus on topics such as:

  •   Inflation, logistics, and critical issues facing investors across the region;
  •   Energy demand and the role of natural gas as a transition fuel;
  •   The opportunities for geothermal energy, carbon capture, and the production of critical/strategic minerals

The webinar will feature a presentation by Sproule experts Chris Mylde and Jorge Milanese and followed by a panel discussion featuring Carla Lacerda, Institute of the Americas Non-Resident Fellow and former ExxonMobil Brazil Country Chair and Jeremy M. Martin, Vice President, Energy & Sustainability at the Institute of the Americas.
