Consolidando la Agenda 30×30 en México y América Latina
Junio 6, 2024 | Museo de Historia Natural y Cultura Ambiental – Ciudad de México, México
English
For the second year in a row, the IOA, along with Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego and the Centro para la Biodiversidad Marina y la Conservación A.C. in Mexico, will organize this dialogue to catalyze multisectoral discussions on the protection of our oceans. The goal is to raise awareness of its relevance to us all and mobilize different sectors to take actions that bring us closer to the goals established by the 30×30 agenda—agreed to by UN signatory countries in late 2022. A Day for the Oceans seeks to promote greater access to scientific information and strengthen cooperation between sectors and Latin American countries, to jointly address the challenges related to the loss of marine biodiversity and climate change. You can visit the website here. If attending, please register; there is limited capacity. It is in-person only and in Spanish, with no simultaneous interpretation.CO-ORGANIZADORES
