October 11, 2023 | 5:30 pm | Institute of the Americas (UCSD campus) | Hojel auditorium
The Institute of the Americas is pleased to present:
“U.S. Foreign Policy in the Americas & Changing Geo-Politics”, a conversation with Senator Dodd, Special Presidential Advisor for the Americas
As Special Presidential Advisor for the Americas, Senator Dodd has been charged with helping to advance the implementation of key initiatives President Biden announced at the IX Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles last year, spanning economic cooperation, migration, health, human rights, food security, democratic governance as well as other priorities.
His new Hemispheric mandate comes amidst changing geo-politics that are re-defining the political and economic contours of U.S. foreign policy in the Americas.
Join us for a conversation with Senator Dodd who will examine emerging challenges and opportunities for U.S. interests across the Americas.
The event will start at 5:30 p.m. While the event is an in-person free public event, all attendees are asked to register here.
