Welcome to the November edition of Energy Panorama. This month we continued our discussion of lithium and critical minerals with a panel at the Institute of the Americas in La Jolla and presentation by Emily Hersh. See presentation and video below.
Mexico’s evolving energy sector and outlook for renewables were the focus of our podcast series and an essay in World Politics Review. We also weighed in on changes in Ecuador’s ministry of energy and outlook for the nation’s oil sector as part of the Inter-American Dialogue’s Energy Advisor.
We are pleased to share the short highlight video and photo gallery from our Roundtable in Bogota and discussion of the future of Colombia’s oil and gas sector; later this month we’ll publish reports based upon the discussions.
Our webinar series focused on Argentina and discussion with YPF on their energy transition strategies and investment with Elena Morettini, Geoscience Advisor & B20 Energy Officer at YPF.
On December 5, our webinar series will discuss the political developments in the Southern Cone and implications for the near-term function and outlook for the region’s gas market.
Next week is our annual collaboration in Washington, DC with the Inter-American Dialogue and discussion of the energy sector in the Western Hemisphere. This year’s event set for December 11 will assess Mexico’s energy sector as President Andrés Manuel López Obrador marks one year in office.
