During the IOA-CAF sponsored site visit, mayors and leaders met with regional leaders and transportation experts from the City of San Diego, County of San Diego, SANDAG, Port of San Diego, SDG&E, California Air Resources Board, UC San Diego, Pedal Ahead Electric Bike Program and Circulate San Diego.
Key themes discussed with the mayors included e-mobility regulatory policy and implementation and social equity, EV public transportation, cross-border e-mobility planning, EV vocational training and workforce development, e-mobility transportation hubs, and both terrestrial and maritime sustainable transportation solutions.
